Donate a Lily
There are no flowers on the Altar during Lent. However, come Easter, the Altar will be overflowing with beautiful Easter lilies. Please donate a lily and write your special dedication in the flower book or send it to the office at office@ascensionepiscopalchurch.org.
Cost is $25. Thank you. (Dedications must be in by March 30th.)

Easter Music Needs Underwriters
Please make an offering to help underwrite the Easter Musicians. They were wonderful at Christmas and we look forward to a repeat performance. Donations may be dedicated in memory of, in honor of, in thanksgiving for, etc., and will be acknowledged in the Easter orders of service. Donations will be accepted through Easter, but in order for the dedication to appear in the bulletin, it must be received by the office no later than March 30th. Please email the church office (office@ascensionepiscopalchurch.org).

Post Service Coffee on Easter Sunday
Easter is one our biggest days of Celebration! Rather than require one team to handle such a large task, we ask for a little bit from everyone. The tables will be set up outside, under the bell and the children will be hunting eggs. Please drop off your contribution of a meat/cheese tray, fruit/veggie tray, crackers, cookies, or other fun snacks.

AES AUCTION!!
Ascension School is hosting an auction!! In order to hold these auctions, we need items! We all have connections, friends, family, places we frequent, favorite restaurants, and so on. If we all ask 3 people or places for a donation, we will have plenty! Please see the note from the auction Chair:
We are so excited that parishioners may be interested in donating or bidding on auction items! It will be online so you can easily view items or come in person to check out the items on March 6th (our Rodeo Day event)! We will accept any donations. Examples of items we have received before are: gift cards to local business, certificates for services such a massages or local salons, baskets (date night at home, campfire s’more kit, summer fun), zoo or museum memberships, etc. A Tax donation form is available as well if anyone owns a business that would like to donate.
Thank you!! - Kelsie Serice

Dear Ascension Community,
Ascension Episcopal School is a place that embodies community, character, and calling, where each child talents, faith, and whole self matters. The small-class settings allow teachers to see each child’s spark and use academics, faith, and relationships, to allow the children to flourish, not only in test scores but also as confident, kind, and curious beings.
But the truth is: tuition alone does not cover everything that makes AES the place we want it to be. The Annual Fund gives us the “extra” that turns good into great, funding upgrades and enhancements that keep our campus relevant and lead the way with faith-based, individualized education.
This year, our goal is bold: we aim for 100% participation from every family, friend, and parish partner of AES - because when we all give, we all win. Together we will be able to invest in campus security, upgrade and refresh our spaces, and improve technology and learning materials allowing us to cultivate our spiritual and community life so that AES remains not just a school, but a community that says we are worth investing in and our shared community is worth building. Thank you for believing in our mission and investing in our future.
With gratitude and hope,
Alejandro Sanoja,
Annual Fund Chair,
Parent, Victoria (PK4)

Stay Alert
The office has received a couple of strange emails claiming to be from "Fr. Desmond". This happens occasionally with scammers and fraudsters. If you get a communication from "Fr. Desmond" that seems suspicious, if it is asking for personal information, or requesting funds, DO NOT respond to it, just delete it and let Sam in the office know.

Announcements
We are looking for individuals who will give the announcements on Sunday mornings at the 10:30 service. Simply go to the lectern during the announcement portion of the service and give a brief synopsis of what is going on in Ascension life. You do not need to read the bulletin to the congregation, just highlight upcoming events and deadlines.

Pictures
Many of you take wonderful pictures of Ascension life. As we move forward in building a profile, we would like to share all the things, special and everyday that we do here at Ascension. Please send any pictures you take of church life to: photos@ascensionepiscopalchurch.org.
It is great to have them all in one place!!
