My Church, My Home
Stewardship Testimony
| | | |
"We give to Ascension because we believe in God’s Word and in the marvelous work God is doing in our church. Everything we have comes from God, and giving is one way we return to God what he has entrusted to us and participate in the work of the Gospel. Generous giving has taught our family to trust God’s provision, and we have seen his goodness meet us in our needs, “pressed down, shaken together, and running over.” We believe that our time, talents, and treasures all have a place in God’s work at Ascension, and we pray that as each of us offers what God has given us, he will continue to grow our church and deepen its ministry in the coming year."

Join us Every Sunday for the Children’s Bridge Worship
at 10:30 a.m.
Each Sunday, we continue to invite our youngest worshippers a dedicated children's time during the service. They simply follow the service leaders from the front of the church to the narthex for a special service, and they return at the Peace. This is one more way we welcome and support young families at Ascension!

Small Groups
Interested in joining a neighborhood small group at Ascension? We’re exploring the idea of putting two types of groups—mixed-age and young-family—that would bring together people from Ascension Church and School and St. John the Divine for Bible study, prayer, meals, friendship, and service. This is also a great opportunity to invite our neighbors to share life with us at Ascension. We will provide curriculum (conversational teaching on the Book of Acts) and discussion questions. Interested or know others who would be? Contact Rev. Trent: tpettit@sjd.org
