Greetings!

We will observe Ascension Sunday by continuing our pilgrimage in worship throughout the Holy Land. One of the places where Jesus frequented due to friendships was a village called Bethany. We will take a look at this in worship on Sunday. We also have a baptism that occurred yesterday, and will be available to watch online this Sunday.

Grace and Peace,
Pastor David

PASTORAL INTERN
On May 24, St. John's will welcome one student from Florida Southern College who will serve as a pastoral intern through a program with the Office of Clergy Excellence. Pastor Jeanne and Pastor David will mentor the intern together. In the coming weeks, you will get to know Grace Sill more as she will serve with us until the end of July.
PRAYER AND OFFERING BOXES
A big thank you to Richard and Jeanne Thomas for creating four prayer and offering boxes for St. John's sanctuary. One of the ways we will modify worship in June is that we will not pass the offering plate. Instead, we will encourage you to use these offering boxes for your prayers and tithes as an act of worship. These are one of the many precautions we will take to ensure the safety and health of our community.
CELEBRATING GRADUATES
NEED YOUR HELP!

With so many high school seniors missing out on big life moments, we want to do what we can as a church family to offer our support. So, we are asking as many as possible to please write a card or note of encouragement to each, individual graduate and either drop it off at the church or have it arrive via mail by May 31st.

We encourage you to reach out to trusted friends and family who might be willing to help. Let’s do all we can to flood these seniors with Christian love and support! Below are the names of our seniors.
