Four teen teams raise funds to support YouthZone

Once a year, teens take a turn helping YouthZone and their communities instead of YouthZone helping them. Through the annual YouthZone Ascent fundraiser, local youth from the Roaring Fork and Colorado River valleys put together a showcase of talent to share their understanding of the world around them.

Laura's Story
Youth coming through YouthZone’s programs often experienced some form of trauma and mental illness in their lives. To cope with their pain, young people may numb their symptoms by consuming alcohol and drugs. Compassionate counseling helps youth find steps toward healthier adulthood. (Photo is a stock photo.)
