AVCA Snow Removal Policy
Roads will begin to be plowed after three inches of snow.
The plowing does not include parking spaces. If shoveling out your car, please do not put snow on the road, as it is going to be pushed back toward the cars by the plows. Please stay off the roads if you are able, to allow our crew to do their job safely and efficiently.

Shoutout to Station 6 - Ashburn Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department
🚒🚒🚒
This past Saturday, January 11th, our local firefighters from Station 6 courageously practiced safely entering and exiting the icy water at Ashburn Lake during their Water Rescue Training. Several firefighters shown in the pictures above braved the cold temperatures, which average around 32 degrees Fahrenheit on a 30-degree weather day.
We are incredibly thankful to all of our firefighters for their dedication and commitment to their training. Thank you to all of our firefighters for your bravery and service!
