Scoop The Poop & Leash Your Pets

Over the last few weeks, Ashburn Village inspectors have noticed animal waste bags on the curb, front steps, and several bags thrown into a bush located on common area near Courtland Drive and the entrance of Falmouth Court. In addition, the animal waste is not being picked up on common areas. This is not allowed or acceptable. We kindly ask that you properly dispose of the animal waste at the nearby waste stations and respect the common areas as well as your neighbor's properties. Properly discarding of animal waste helps our enviroment by preventing toxins from entering water bodies and so much more!

Animal Waste

Pet droppings shall be cleaned up by the owner responsible for the pet being on the property.

In addition, Ashburn Village Community Association follows the Code of Ordinances, Chapter 612.19 Dog waste.

Loudoun County Leash Law

Also, all dogs are required to be leashed unless they are on the owner’s property, or are in a designated space (fenced dog park). For more information about Loudoun’s animal related laws, please refer to the Loudoun County Code of Ordinances, Chapter 612.13 under Running At Large.

FRIDAY SHOUT OUTS

Mike says, "Thank you for the new Pickleball nets and the apparent discussions on expanding gym use for Pickleball. It is the fastest growing sport in the USA and the gym is usually full during current available times. Thanks."

Susan says, "The new sign up registration for pickle ball in the gym is an excellent idea. In the fall when I went, many times it was so crowded that I just went home. It was crowded and chaotic. This new method for signing up is very helpful to me and all pb players because we know what to expect when we get there. I also am grateful that residents can register earlier than outside members. Thanks to the RSC for finding a solution to a difficult situation!"

Thank You!
