AVCA Holiday Office Hours



In observance of Washington’s Birthday our office will be closed Monday, February 17th. We will resume regular business hours at 8AM on Tuesday, February 18th.

FACILITIES & GROUNDS



Projects completed this week by the Facilities and Grounds crew included:

  • Plowed snow from streets and sidewalks
  • Removed a dead tree on Fincastle
  • Trimmed branches along Glenhazel
  • Assembled new salt spreaders
  • Unloaded pool and rec center restroom supplies
  • Repaired light poles on Clappertown & Rainsboro
  • Replaced flag lights at the office
  • Checked playgrounds
 
 
 

REMINDER - TRASH RULES


We have received several concerns from residents about trash being put out for collection improperly. We would like to remind everyone of the following rules:


  • DO put your trash can in front of your own house for pick up


  • DO put trash bags into your trash can to keep it from vultures and other scavengers


  • DO put your trash can away on the same day as pick up


  • DON'T put your trash can out before 5:00pm the night before pick-up


  • DON'T put your trash can at group mailboxes or parking islands


If you are a homeowner and have renters, please provide information to your renters about the rules in Ashburn Village.
