FACILITIES & GROUNDS

Projects completed this week by the Facilities and Grounds crew include:

Completed fire marshal list for Pavilion
Moved indoor pool clock to interior wall
Replaced 7 twenty-foot light poles
Trenched 250 feet of new wire to repair lights on Apollo
Removed tree from behind Aberdeen
Trimmed tree blocking light on Girdland
Installed last of the bridge material on Bridge 41
Patched wall in Kids Zone at the Pavilion

On the night of Monday, February 13th, Ashburn Village was hit with vehicle tampering and attempted break ins. Ashburn Village Community Association reminds all residents to lock their car doors to deter theft.

February is Canned Food Month

Please help the Youth Program gather donations for Loudoun Hunger Relief. You can drop off donations on the lower level through the end of February.

Prom Attire Donation Box

Help a local girl's prom wishes come true! Have old dresses, shoes and jewelry you would like to donate? AVSP has a “Prom Wishes” donation box in our lobby until March 19^th.

Pickleball News

Registration is now required for scheduled pickleball play in the gym. Residents may register 7 days in advance and ORM’s 5 days in advance. To register please click here.

New Pro Shop

We now have a pro shop in our upstairs lobby! At our pro shop you’ll find products to help you get through your next workout, tennis session or swim lesson.

Membership Photo

Members must have an up-to-date photo on their account to enter the AVSP. If you enter via the express entry with no photo on file, you will be asked to exit and enter through the main lobby entrance. We are working on adding/updating pictures to everyone’s profile, please be patient with us during this process, we appreciate your cooperation.

Nicole says, "Jeff and the whole entire Facilities & Grounds Department are always out going above and beyond for the community. They are frequently seen out early in the mornings, late in the evenings and during all the changing weather tending to numerous projects that make our community sparkle. They are quick to replace lights for safety or escalate a found issue to VDOT making sure it is fixed quickly if needed.
