Scoop The Poop & Leash Your Pets

Attention Ashburn Village Residents:

Over the last few weeks, our inspectors have observed an increase in improperly disposed animal waste bags on curbs, front steps, and a bush on the common area near Courtland Drive and the entrance of Falmouth Court. This ongoing issue, first noted in 2023, is unacceptable.

Please be mindful and take action:

  1. Dispose of animal waste bags properly at nearby waste stations.
  2. Ensure common areas and your neighbors' properties are respected.

Properly discarding animal waste is vital for our environment, as it prevents harmful toxins from entering water bodies and much more. Let's work together to keep our community clean and safe.

In addition, Ashburn Village Community Association follows the Code of Ordinances, Chapter 612.19 Dog waste.

Loudoun County Leash Law

Also, all dogs are required to be leashed unless they are on the owner’s property, or are in a designated space (fenced dog park). For more information about Loudoun’s animal related laws, please refer to the Loudoun County Code of Ordinances, Chapter 612.13 under Running At Large.

Thank you for your cooperation!

Upcoming Annual Property Reviews!

As outlined in our association documents and rules and regulations, the Covenants Inspectors will begin their annual inspections for 2025 in early March. These lot-by-lot reviews help ensure compliance with community rules and regulations. The inspectors are responsible for educating residents and enforcing the rules. Click HERE for more information. Our goal is to maintain property values and community aesthetics, not to issue fines.

During the inspections, the inspectors will review the front, back, and sides of each property, walking the perimeter. Please note that gates will not be opened; however, inspectors may need to walk around or near your backyard due to shrubs, trees, and bushes. Our inspectors, Lydia and Addy, can be identified by their Ashburn Village Community Association badges and shirts, and they drive a white Ford Fiesta with the Ashburn Village logo on the doors. They are happy to answer any questions you may have. You can also reach out to our Residential Services Manager, Trevor Wright, at 703-723-7910 Ext. 105.

Please take a few minutes to complete our survey on tourism in Loudoun County. It’s open to past visitors and those considering a visit. All responses are anonymous and at the end of the survey, participants will have a chance to enter to win gift certificates to Loudoun tourism businesses.

Basketball Coaching in the Gym

With the start of the Farmwell Station Basketball League, we have seen an increase in parents coaching children in the basketball gym. Please remember that practices and drills are not permitted at AVSP unless led by an AVSP employee. Unsanctioned practices go against the spirit of fair play per the FSBL rules.
