Common Area Mowing Update
Due to the recent rainy weather, the community landscapers mowing schedule has been pushed back. We understand that there are areas with tall grass that really need to be mowed. Weather permitting, our community landscapers will begin mowing these areas as soon as possible.

Volunteer for Scrape for the Grape -
Countywide Effort
|
On April 6, 2024, please consider volunteering for “Scape for the Grape,” a low-impact day of community service whereby residents from around Loudoun County join together to help our wineries and farmers address an invasive species issue that is affecting their livelihood. The invasive Spotted Lanternfly (SLF) is first drawn to areas by the invasive Tree of Heaven (both the bug and the tree are originally from Asia), and then it moves on to grapevines and orchards, threatening the crops.
The Loudoun Invasive Removal Alliance (LIRA), of which Ashburn Village is a proud member, along with 36 other Loudoun HOAs, is partnering with Visit Loudoun, Loudoun Wine and Wine Growers Association and Virginia Cooperative Extension to take action.
Scrape the Grape: April 6, 2024, 10am to 2pm
Weekend of Appreciation: April 6-7, 2024: To thank you for your efforts, Loudoun wineries will show their appreciation through special deals and promotions for all volunteers. All you need to do is bring in your “Scrape for the Grape” branded bandana or scrape card and you will be welcomed, thanked and shown appreciation at Loudoun wineries throughout the weekend.
When you register, you can elect where in Loudoun you’d like to volunteer ((right now central (Leesburg), western (Bluemont), and southern (Aldie) Loudoun are potential locations)).
Families welcome!

The 35th Annual Potomac Watershed Cleanup
Help beautify the Village by taking part in this annual cleanup.
Trash that ends up on the ground gets into our streams and can even find its way all the way to the Potomac. Trash introduces harmful substances into the natural environment.
All over the DMV, communities are banding together to clean up the Watershed.
Here in the Village, we have identified three areas that will be our focus in this effort. Some of it is easy walking grade, other areas will require a higher level of fitness.
Use this link to sign up and let’s pull together to beautify the Village and our country!

Staff Shoutout
A Happy Resident Said, "This message is long overdue. I come to the gym frequently since I retired and usually enter on the lower level. One of the best things about coming in down there is that I'm frequently greeted by Humera. She's truly a bright ray of sunshine. Always a smile, a kind greeting and a word of encouragement. When you see Humera, you know it's going to be a great day at the Pavilion. We appreciate her so much and wanted you to know what a delight she is."
