9 PM Routine

Just a reminder to lock your car doors, and keep valuables out of sight to deter “crimes of opportunity.” Also, do not forget to lock up your garages and home doors! Please remember to report any suspicious activity by calling the non-emergency line 703-777-1021. For more information, click HERE.

Check Writing Policy Reminder

If you are one of a few owners still paying by check at the HOA office, this message is for you. Our payment policy requires that we collect a $25 processing fee for monthly assessments paid by personal check at the HOA office. Annual payments by personal check will continue to be accepted without a processing fee. Beginning, April 1st, we will strictly be enforcing this policy. Alternative ways for paying assessment dues include: signing up for the direct debit program or paying through your bank's bill pay.

Click HERE for more information and select the How to Pay Assessments tab. Please note you will be required to login to the website to view this information.

Golf Workshop

Gear up for golf season by attending this Monday's Golf Agility, Power and Endurance Workshop from 6 - 7PM. This workshop will allow for attendees to learn golf-specific exercises that can all be done with equipment at AVSP. There will also be time for individual questions anyone may have pertaining to any specific golf, or overall fitness, goals they may have. Email mmorton@ashburnvillage.org with questions.

Year Round Racquet Sports Bubble!

Our sports bubble is staying up permanently. Work has begun to install the necessary electrical components and concrete pad prior to the air conditioner unit arriving later this year. The unit was supposed to arrive in time for summer, but we now heard that the manufacturer has a delay in getting the necessary components. This means that we will miss out on the entire summer. We are considering our options and will provide an update on the summer tennis bubble and related programming.

Changes to Checking In

Anyone entering the facility who is not a resident or member scanning in will have to give their information to the front desk attendant. We will no longer be using the QR code for guests to enter the facility. Thank you for understanding.

Membership Photo

Members must have an up-to-date photo on their account to enter the AVSP. If you enter via the express entry with no photo on file, you will be asked to exit and enter through the main lobby entrance. We are working on adding/updating pictures to everyone’s profile, please be patient with us during this process, we appreciate your cooperation.

FRIDAY SHOUT OUTS

Larry says, "I want to give a shout out to the Ashburn Village Landscaping Crew that keeps our neighborhood so beautiful. Thank you! They work hard, always nod or speak pleasantly, and do an excellent job. I can only express my appreciation to the men who work right around my house, but I know the entire crew is also hard at work around the neighborhoods. My wife and I just want them to know their efforts are noticed and appreciated. We're fortunate to have them"

A Happy Homeowner says "I would like to recognize the entire day camp/spring break camp staff. The effective communication is much appreciated. My son is new to the program and had a rough start because we did not send him to camp on his ADHD medication. the staff immediately and openly brought the issue to our attention and voiced their concerns, and we were able to address and resolve it right away. They have kept me up to date all week and said his behavior is like night and day. My son loves it there, especially compared to the camps he has attended in the past! We look forward to summer camp as well!!"

Thank You!
