April 25 Board Meeting Recap

• The tennis bubble will stay up for the summer, however, the air conditioner is delayed by the manufacturer. The bubble will be used without AC weather permitting. Programming will be moved to the Lakes outdoor tennis courts if the bubble is too hot, as determined by the tennis pros. Fans will be placed in the tennis bubble.
• Interclub pickleball play at the Woods courts will be allowed.
• AVSP will host the all-stars swim meet at the Lakes.
• The after school child care program at AVSP will have a price increase.
• Pro Pave approved to fill cracks at selected streets that were paved within the last five years.

 Register NOW for Ashburn Village’s Annual Charity 5K/10K!

ROAD CLOSURES FOR THIS EVENT

Saturday, May 6th, 7am - 930am

For the Fiesta 5K/10K race event, some road entrances/exits will be closed to traffic from 7am-930am:

• Aberdeen Terrace
• Florence Terrace
• Show Shoe
• Natalie Terrace

Signs will be placed on those roads with details next week. Please drive carefully and watch for runners next weekend. The route map can be found here, note that runners will be on the right-side curb lane on all roads. You can still sign up or cheer on the 450 participants!

Tennis Tuesday is Back!

Join residents for tennis at The Lakes courts from 6pm-8pm on Tuesdays for pick up tennis matches.

We Have a New Playground

The playground will be primarily used for the Licensed Daycare at AVSP but will be open to the public Monday-Friday after 6 PM and Saturday and Sunday all day.

Marina

The Marina will open for the season on Saturday, May 6^th. The Marina will be open on Saturday and Sundays from 11am to 5pm. Starting, June 12^th it will also be open Monday to Friday from 1 PM to 7 PM. Please check in at the front desk for a life vest and to sign a waiver.

Year-Round Racquet Sports Bubble!

We are actively working on solutions to temporarily cool the tennis bubble while we wait on the air conditioner unit that is delayed. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work to improve this amenity for our residents and turn it into a year-round structure. 

Changes to Checking In

Anyone entering the facility who is not a resident or member scanning in will have to give their information to the front desk attendant. We will no longer be using the QR code for guests to enter the facility. Thank you for understanding.

Membership Photo

Members must have an up-to-date photo on their account to enter the AVSP. If you enter via the express entry with no photo on file, you will be asked to exit and enter through the main lobby entrance. We are working on adding/updating pictures to everyone’s profile, please be patient with us during this process, we appreciate your cooperation.
