FACILITIES & GROUNDS

Projects completed this week by the Facilities and Grounds crew included:

Watered trees and flowers
Worked on Lakes punch list
Performed dog park maintenance
Repaired paddle boat
Removed tree from yard on Blue Water Ct.
Emptied fishing containers
Installed 4 new thirteen foot light poles
Repaired gas lamp at the Woods recreation center
Repaired damaged wall in pool restroom at the Lakes recreation center

Just a reminder to lock your car doors and keep valuables out of sight to deter “crimes of opportunity.” Also, do not forget to lock up your garages and home doors! Please remember to report any suspicious activity by calling the non-emergency line 703-777-1021.

Outdoor Pool at AVSP

Open Mon-Fri 11:00 am – 8:15 pm

Sat and Sun, 11:00 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.

Woods and Lakes Pools

Open Daily 11:00 am – 8:15 pm

Mills

Open Daily 10:00 am - 7:15 pm

Guest Passes

Each household has had ten (10) free passes already directly loaded to each family's Sports Pavilion membership account. Please note these guest passes may be used for outdoor pools only. Your Ashburn Village membership card is your pool pass. If you do not have a membership card, contact the HOA office. If you have questions about the guest passes, please call the Sports Pavilion.

Tennis Tuesday is Back!

Join residents for tennis at The Lakes courts from 6 PM - 8 PM on Tuesdays for pick up tennis matches.

Open Play Pickleball

Open Play Pickleball at The Woods has started back up.

The steam room will be out of order until August, we have ordered a new steam generator and are waiting for it to arrive. We apologize for the inconvenience.

NEW Functional Fitness Exercise Room

Thank you to the BOD for funding our newly upgraded amenity at the Sports Pavilion, the Functional Fitness Exercise room (FFX). We will be hosting cycle classes, bootcamps, personal training and more! And of course, members can use the space and equipment too!

Pickleball in the Basketball Gym

Starting Monday June 12th, Pickleball will be only held on the following times:

Monday 5:30pm-8pm

Wednesday 5:30pm-8pm

Saturday 10am-12pm

Teen Weight Training

Hours for the summer start Monday June 12th. TWT will be held Monday - Thursday from 9:30am-11:30am.

Marina

The Marina is open on Saturday and Sundays from 11am to 5pm. Starting, June 12^th it will also be open Monday to Friday from 1 PM to 7 PM. Please check in at the front desk for a life vest and to sign a waiver.

Year-Round Racquet Sports Bubble!

The tennis bubble will stay up for the summer, however, the air conditioner is delayed by the manufacturer. The bubble will be used without AC weather permitting. Programming will be moved to the Lakes outdoor tennis courts if the bubble is too hot, as determined by the tennis pros. Fans will be placed in the tennis bubble. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work to improve this amenity for our residents and turn it into a year-round structure.

Changes to Checking In

Anyone entering the facility who is not a resident or member scanning in will have to give their information to the front desk attendant. We will no longer be using the QR code for guests to enter the facility. Thank you for understanding.

Membership Photo

Members must have an up-to-date photo on their account to enter the AVSP. If you enter via the express entry with no photo on file, you will be asked to exit and enter through the main lobby entrance. We are working on adding/updating pictures to everyone’s profile, please be patient with us during this process, we appreciate your cooperation.
