Projects completed this week by the Facilities and Grounds crew included:


  • Watered trees
  • Installed new wire for bubble wind sensor
  • Trimmed branches along trail
  • Removed branches on Bruceton Mills Cir.
  • Replaced rusted off bollard
  • Repaired Woods pool baby gate
  • Replaced 4 twenty foot light poles
  • Replaced multiple signs and posts
  • Replaced 6 thirteen foot light poles
  • Repaired faucets at Mills pool restrooms

Annual Property Reviews In Progress


Zones 1-6 are done!

We are currently working on Zone 7.



Thank to all of the residents that have made improvements to their homes.


These inspections are done annually to ensure all homeowners keep up with their exterior maintenance and are following Ashburn Village rules and regulations.

Labor Day Weekend Outdoor Pool Hours

Sports Pavilion Outdoor Pool: 11:00 am - 5:15 pm

Woods and Lakes Pools: 11:00 am –  8:15 pm

Mills Pool: 10:00 am - 7:15 pm

August 27 Board Meeting Recap:

  • Finance Committee to look at the business case for building an aquatics bubble over the Lakes pool for year-round use.
  • Motion to add more cameras to the sports pavilion parking lot did not pass. Board to reconsider after reviewing results of the capital improvements survey.
  • Motion to engage an architect to design the racquetball court conversion did not pass. Board to reconsider after reviewing results of the capital improvements survey.
  • Approved AVCA to take over the maintenance of two pet waste stations on The Regency at Ashburn property.
  • Approved Loudoun Special Olympics request for the sports pavilion to host two of their events this fall.
  • Approved a reduction of the sports pavilion membership initiation fee for renters at the three apartment building properties in Ashburn Village, from $100, to $25.
  • VillageFest: Allow civic organizations to have a table for promotion, at a cost of $100, with a cap of ten (10) organizations.
  • Approved temporary fall reconfiguration of the indoor pool swim lanes to balance lessons with usage for residents.
  • Approved adding a work truck to the Facilities & Ground fleet.
  • Approved installing three (3) additional waste receptacles at our walking paths.
  • Appointed the members of the new Aquatics Advisory Committee.

Board of Directors Election Information - Online Voting Opens September 17th


Owners will once again be eligible to vote electronically using a third-party representative, Vote HOA Now. This is a safe and efficient method to increase participation while saving both time and money. Each property with an email on file will receive an email invitation to vote around September 17 from the community voting site. Please be sure to add this email address (ashburnvillage@ivotehoa.com) to your safe sender list/address book so you can participate in the vote.

Turf Treatment

9/3 & 9/4


Tuesday, 9/3 and Wednesday, 9/4 (weather permitting), TruGreen will be on the property to apply a turf treatment for the control of grassy weeds. Please wait until the product dries before resuming activities on the grass.
