Catch and Release Fishing Only

Catch and Release fishing can be enjoyed by our residents and their guests between Dawn and Dusk, with a valid state fishing license. Information on Virginia fishing regulations and licenses can be found on the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries website.

Lately we have received multiple complaints regarding people fishing with coolers and taking the fish. If you see someone taking fish please let us know, as it disturbs the natural ecosystem within the lakes and is against the posted rules.  You can contact us at (703)-723-7910, or avca@ashburnvillage.org.

Starting Sunday 9/3 the AVSP Parking Lot will be closed for a week for VillageFest Prep. We will have limited handicap spaces and the circle will be open for drop off and pick up only.

The indoor pool is currently closed as we replace the tile on the pool deck. The outdoor pool will be open starting at 5 AM Monday to Friday and 7 AM Saturday and Sunday. All programming will take place outside. As always there will be at least 2 lanes open for residents at all times.

Also, the steam room is out of order. We have ordered a new steam generator and are waiting for it to arrive. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Changes to Checking In

Anyone entering the facility who is not a resident or member scanning in will have to give their information to the front desk attendant. We will no longer be using the QR code for guests to enter the facility. Thank you for understanding.

Membership Photo

Members must have an up-to-date photo on their account to enter the AVSP. If you enter via the express entry with no photo on file, you will be asked to exit and enter through the main lobby entrance. We are working on adding/updating pictures to everyone’s profile, please be patient with us during this process, we appreciate your cooperation.

Friday Shoutouts

Donna says, "I just want to say thank you and give a shout-out for providing a place to recycle batteries for residents. We go through so many with remotes and game remotes plus equipment used for work, save them up, and drive them to recycle events. This is very convenient for residents. Amazing service. Thank you!"

Thank You!
