NEW CARDIO EQUIPMENT

We received some new cardio equipment this week. We replaced 3 older treadmills with 3 new LifeFitness Integrity+ treadmills and also added a Life Fitness Arc Trainer to the mix. An arc trainer is a low-impact cardio machine with foot plates that follow an arc motion, or curved path, instead of an oval-shaped path like an elliptical, which is considered a biomechanically correct path of motion that reduces stress on your knees and joints.

STAFF SHOUTOUTS!

A Happy Resident Said, "Just a shout out to Dimitri and staff associated with maintenance of our streetlamps. On SEVERAL occasions before I can even get to this form, I have found Dimitri and colleagues out working on street lamps that have gone out or are flickering. Having know the infamous Mac McGrail who first worked much of the maintenance on the electrical functionality of these lights, I am very pleased to see HOA staff tackle these issues pro-actively.

Please thank Dimitri and staff and keep up the great work."

A Happy Resident Said, "Shout out to Dick and the facilities crew for their constant oversight and maintenance of the pathway bridge #4 that crosses the spillway from Ferncliff/Black Horse to Birdsnest. Sometime last year we contacted the HOA due to some stability issues with the bridge which had Trex composite decking installed but the structural rigidity was becoming weak. Dick and his crew added some gussets and tightened up the beam such that the bridge is no longer loose. While never at risk of falling, the bridge is a great crossing avoiding any turned ankles on the wet slope of the spillway and a convenient crossing for cyclists as well as the frequent dog walkers that use this resource. Staff's excellent responsiveness and oversight is appreciated. Kudos to HOA staff for their efforts."
