FACILITIES & GROUNDS



Projects completed this week by the Facilities and Grounds crew included:

  • Moved mulch at Farmwell
  • Replaced 4 twenty foot light poles
  • Replaced broken light pole on Tavern
  • Put up holiday sign on island off Cheltenham Circle
  • Put out salt buckets, shovels and spreaders
  • Removed broken pole on Louisa
  • Repaired multiple light globes from the wind
  • Picked up trash from the wind
  • Removed water line from Cedar lake

December 2 Board Meeting Recap:



  • Manager to research options for downsizing current Facilities & Grounds warehouse rental facility.
  • Approved to continue with Premier Aquatics for pool management.  
  • Approved repair and replacement of low-level drains for dams.
  • Approved installation of two little libraries.  
  • Approved homeowner requests for two memorial benches.
  • Will check with legal counsel on requirements for bringing in an adjacent HOA as a sub-association.
  • Approved bus stop agreements with Loudoun County to improve six bus stops.  
  • Approved field rental contracts for 2025.  
  • Approved AVSP sport program at the racquetball court, to start in January.

Join Us Saturday Morning

for Invasive Plant Removal Training

Register Today!

This Saturday from 10am to 1pm, Blue Ridge PRISM, the leading invasive plant non-profit in Virginia, is coming to Ashburn Village to lead a hands-on training of English Ivy removal, as well as various invasive shrubs including Burning Bush, Amur Honeysuckle and Multi-flora Rose.  


The invasive removal training will be held in a small, wooded area between Ordinary Place and Ashburn Village Boulevard.


We are limiting volunteers to 40, so please be sure to register today!


**Sorry, this event is not suitable for children under the age of 18 because we will be using herbicides.
