COMPANY K: From Asheboro to the Fields of France

Written by Lexington, NC based poet Barbara Presnell

Directed by Asheboro, NC based director Jeremy Skidmore

 

  • Originally conceived and commissioned by Randolph County Public Libraries and the City of Asheboro. 
  • Featuring actors from all over the United States, including James Alton, Chance Carroll, Amanda Forstrom, Isaac Klein, Patrick Osteen and John Romanski.
  • With live music performed by Randolph County based musicians Mark Dillon and Christen Blanton Mack.
  • Designed by Raleigh and Greenville, NC based designers Noah Trimner and Dorothy Austin-Harrell

 

World Premiere! September 29, 1918: Company K of Randolph County makes its historic stand. Live music and performances bring to life the love, heartache, and brotherhood found in actual letters between North Carolina soldiers and their loved ones leading up to Company K's final battle that accelerated the end of World War I.

Attention TeenagersAll teenagers living in Randolph County can attend any of the performances for free!  Just arrive 30-minutes before the performance to claim your ticket.
