Ten Years and Counting

Tracy Sutton Aspen Signature Properties was formally created on October 25, 2004.  I had been in real estate, property management, hospitality and vacation rental brokering for close to 20 years by this time with a tremendous amount of repeat business, having earned the trust of Aspen homeowners and direct rental clients already. Owning my own business became important to me when I realized that the corporate box companies that were servicing Aspen homeowners who requested personalized treatment of their homes and guests who wanted a personalized experience from their vacation were not listening or providing this important aspect of Hospitality in our high end resorts.  You can't fit a square peg into a round hole.  It was evident that I had an opportunity to offer an amazing service to both homeowners and luxury vacation renters.

During this past decade, my business has grown to include 7 associate brokers and 2 office assistants.  Even with the recession and reduction of high end luxury vacation travel between the dates of 2008 and 2011, I maintained two office locations in Aspen and continued to grow the business by offering the best customer service possible to every client who booked with us.  With the increase in on-line and web-based vacation rental booking sites, we have maintained a strong business because ultimately travelers want to know they have someone to greet them upon arrival, be a local contact during their rental period, assist with pre-arrival details of their trip, and assure the guest that the residence they are renting is well-cared for and maintained to the standards they are accustomed in their own home.  The value in booking with an accredited vacation rental specialist is priceless.

The next few years will bring increased competition from both web-based booking sites and local businesses trying to vie for a niche in the luxury vacation rental market.  It is my continued priority to see Aspen Signature Properties at the top of every search engine, every travel agency and every referral company list as the go-to vacation rental brokerage for clients coming to the Aspen and Snowmass Village resort areas by providing exceptional customer service.

of Aspen & Snowmass

Join us in sharing our love of Aspen and Snowmass.  Follow us on Facebook to hear all of the things we love to do in this incredible Valley we call home.  Each week we'll feature what one of our broker's loves about Aspen and Snowmass.   Don't be shy, we'd love to hear what you love too!

Here's a sneak peak of some of the things we will be positing....

Tracy L. Sutton: Stocking up on shoes at the Bloomingbirds sales.

Carrie Bryant: Skiing "Naked Lady" on Snowmass Mountain and then heading to Base Camp Bar & Grille to people-watch.

Jason Fishburn:   Carving turns on Snowmass Mountain's variety of intermediate cruis'in groomers to expert only cirque headwall runs for all day never the same run twice skiing on over 3,000 skiable acres.

Kathie Schulman: In early Spring I love to pick up the bike trail at Woody Creek and head down towards Old Snowmass. Biking to the Monastery and then back around to the other side by the Deaf Camp is so peaceful, and  to ride alongside the beautiful ranches with the snow capped mountains in the distance is breathtaking.  This is my Colorado!

Johanna Saizan Payne: Enjoying the Hyman mall with my granddaughter, stopping to take a photo with the Big Bear and the Monkey See, Monkey do sculptures on the mall, then grabbing muffins at Annette's Fresh Bakery and enjoying the outdoor tables on the mall.

Shelby Reilly: Hiking up Smuggler with friends for one of the most beautiful "easy" hikes around. Then off to Main Street Bakery for some freshly baked goodies!

Marion Ferrara: Cross Country skiing to the Pine Creek Cookhouse for lunch or dinner and savoring the view.

Ann Wilkinson-Smith:  Hiking Highlands bowl and then having a bowl of Elk Ragu at Cloud Nine restaurant on the deck.
