Let's keep the positive energy rolling! We are more inspired than ever to make the second half of summer even better than the first.
This week, campers will learn all about confidence and believing that you can do what you set your mind to.
Little Ones Can Make a Big Difference
This week at camp, we're focusing on giving back to our community through our annual Campers for a Cause fundraiser. Each child has the opportunity to fundraise for Summer Day Camp scholarships by collecting as many donationsas possible. Here’s how it works:
Campers have donations made online on behalf of their group. Each day, the leading group will be shared with the camp community. Plus, this year only, you can double your impact. Every dollar donated will be doubled by the George E. and Annette C. Murphy Charitable Fund.*
The group that raises the most money will be announced Friday at pick-up.
The top-fundraising group will be rewarded with a very special field trip.
*Contributions are doubled up to $60,000. With each donation, please select your camper's group in order to count toward their group total.
Asphalt Green empowers campers to feel comfortable in their own skin. Believe you can achieve what you set your mind to and persevere when challenges arise.
Friday, July 29:

Our campers will share their wide range of talents. Their singing, dancing, magic, and joke-telling performances will awe any crowd.

"I love camp so much! My highlight of the week is mostly swimming, but soccer is my other favorite! I also participated in new activities like gymnastics and circus arts. I loved the big fall from the blue silk!"
Ella

"This summer, I learned how to catch and throw a football. I also made my first touchdown! My other highlight is the trip to Rocking Horse Ranch. I was able to sit with my friends, play lots of games, and enjoy the outdoor pool with giant slides. I was really scared but overcame my fear and had fun!"
Ronnie Reed
Sports Manager
I'm the Sports Manager and flag football coach for Asphalt Green Summer Day Camp and my favorite part of camp has always been the color wars. Also, my best camp memory was when I became a color war captain in 2020. My favorite ice cream flavor is mint chocolate chip, and a fun fact about me is that I own over 1,000 Pokémon cards!
