Dr. Nancy Hoffman and Mr. Blake Rainwater with young scholars. Putting a puzzle of the world together may seem like child's play until you realize that we make sure that each young scholar knows all about the continents, the oceans, and other bodies of water, and that they can pinpoint their family's country of origin.
In her own words, here is what Dr. Hoffman does while volunteering as a coach with Aspiration Academy:
"Ask questions to determine the knowledge base. Add to what is known. Inspire curiosity about the unknown. Add new information. Expand awareness and appreciation of the infinite world around us while providing positive reinforcement, and fostering self-confidence."
