Aspire Announces Finalists for Women Leaders Awards 


Aspire announced the finalists for its 2024 Women Leaders awards. The winners of the Champion of Women Award and the Woman Leader of the Year Award will be revealed at the Woman Leaders Workshop on March 8 at the Valle Vista Golf and Conference Center.

Aspire Assumes Leadership of Employee Success Program


The Johnson County Community Foundation has transferred control of its Johnson County Employer Resource Network® program to Aspire Johnson County. The Employer Resource Network® is a nationally tested model that places success coaches in the workplace. The program connects individuals with resources to help them remain employed and advances a company’s ability to retain employees. Aspire has become the lead organization for the local program and now employs a success coach.

Tourism is the First Date for Economic Development

 

Research by Longwoods International found that after viewing a 30-second tourism video, individuals were 10 to 15% more likely to view a community positively for living, education, or business opportunities. Destination Marketing Organizations play a crucial role in economic development by encouraging visitors and enhancing community visibility.

ICYMI: Aspire Hosted Solar Eclipse Business Planning Webinar


Last week, Aspire hosted a webinar for the business community of Johnson County to prepare for the eclipse in April. Johnson County is in the path of totality, and this will make the region a hotspot for visitors and sightseers. Executive Director of Festival Country Indiana, Ken Kosky, along with other panel speakers presented both the economic opportunities and logistical issues business owners will need to know about for this rare event.
