Important Updates to Businesses from the State of Indiana
The Indiana Critical Industries Hotline is receiving a high volume of calls for services and questions unrelated to its purpose and capacity. The Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) has asked us to pass along important clarification and guidance regarding the State’s available resources, and the best place to find the information you are seeking depending on your particular need. For example, the Indiana Critical Industries Hotline is only for questions related to what businesses are essential or non-essential through the Governor’s Stay at Home Order and for offers to support the sourcing and/or production of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Small Business Guidance on the SBA Disaster and Payroll Protection Loans
The US Chamber developed the following simplified literature on the new SBA programs, how the funding works, who is eligible and how to apply. If you are considering a loan to help your business survive the current market conditions, we strongly encourage you to start by having a conversation with your existing banking relationships.

You can also find answers to many of your questions at www.Response.IndyChamber.com . This Rapid Response Hub is available to all Central Indiana businesses regardless of their membership status with the Indy Chamber, and most questions receive a response within hours of being submitted.

Utilizing Staffing as a Workforce Solution
By: Jay Hodge, President and CEO of Crown Services, Inc.

Today 90% of businesses utilize a staffing company for seasonal increase in work, direct hire and extended leave of absence of an employee. Staffing employees work in virtually all occupations. This efficient model works for all sectors of employment.

We understand the challenges this unprecedented public health crisis is especially placing on local businesses. Direct, intentional marketing efforts are needed now more than ever, so we have launched a free marketing and promotional opportunity called  Business Blitz .

We invite local businesses to create and submit a 30 second video we will post on Aspire’s social media channels and website. Please email Alex Wheeler for more information and guidelines.
