Aspire Johnson County Launches Update to Economic Strategic Plan

Aspire Johnson County is preparing for the future by updating its Economic Strategic Plan. The current plan, adopted in 2020, has carried Johnson County through a period of rapid change, including the unique challenges of the pandemic. Now, as Aspire wraps up the final year of the five-year cycle, the organization is taking stock of progress, listening to stakeholders, and laying out priorities for the next phase of growth.

Hensley, Nineveh Township Boards Approve Merger

In another Indiana first, Johnson County stands alone as the only county where multiple township mergers have taken place. It is, in fact, the only county with any merged townships at all. Modernizing local government is good for business, making it easier to navigate and more cost-efficient.
