Dr. Clark Receives Teaching Award

EMS Medical Director Dr. Michael Clark recently received an Outstanding Medical Student Teaching award from the Medical College of Wisconsin - Central Wisconsin. 

Dr. Clark has served as a community mentor for many student physician community projects such as: 

• Concussion in Skiers and Snowboarders
• Cardiac Arrest Registry to Enhance Survival (CARES)
• Health Care Experience of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities

Dr. Clark also helped arrange an informal EMS rotation with a medical student and then worked to create a formal EMS elective available to MCW students. 

Concerts on the Square

Aspirus was back at the 400 Block for another night of Concerts on the Square.

Media Supervisor & Regional Communications and Community Engagement Lead Andrew Krauss kicked off the event. 

Program Manager Clare Farwick was present to talk to people about MyAspirus.

Members from Advance Care Planning will be at the next event on August 3. 

Aspirus Merrill Picnic

Members of Aspirus Merrill Hospital recently gathered for a picnic at Riverside Park in Merrill.

The picnic was an opportunity for the AMR team to meet new leaders and staff outside of their normal workday. 

Around 40 employees and their family members were able to stop by. 

Legacy Ascension On-Call Phone Book has Ended

As of 10 a.m. Monday, the legacy Ascension “On-Call Phonebook” link to call schedules has ended. This includes call schedules for all hospitals and clinic locations that are in the final steps of the systems integration project. Legacy Aspirus location processes are unchanged.

The new Aspirus version of the call schedules for legacy Ascension locations can be found on the Aspirus Intranet (Integration, Medical Staff and AWH audience pages) by using the following path:

1. Click on Work Tools & References.
2. Under the resources and References heading, click on call schedules.

The new call system schedule uses MiTeam. To access a Read Only version of the schedule, enter Web as the username with no password required. Staff who have add/edit access can also use their credentials to log in.
