Rhinelander Facility Updates

In September 2022, we put the Riverside Campus (Kabel Ave) on the market and have accepted an offer with the closing expected on Aug. 10. A thorough assessment of our locations in Rhinelander was conducted and it was determined that once the sale is finalized, services would need to be relocated or consolidated into one location to benefit our patients and staff.

  • Business Health and Occupational Health services at Kabel Ave will relocate to Aspirus Rhinelander Clinic - N Chippewa Drive.

  • On August 8, Aspirus Outpatient Therapies - N Chippewa Drive in Rhinelander will move to the Aspirus Outpatient Therapies facilities at the YMCA of the Northwoods located at 2003 E Winnebago Street in Rhinelander. This includes Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy.

  • Aspirus Koller Behavioral Health will continue to see patients at their current offices on Kabel Ave as we’re leasing the space from the new owner.

Additional space needs continue to be evaluated and more information will be shared as it becomes available. This is an exciting time for our services in Rhinelander and we appreciate your understanding as we work through this process.

Register Today for SANE Seminar at HYMC

The Wisconsin Department of Justice is hosting a SANE Course September 25-29 at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff.

This 64-hour blended learning seminar prepares the Registered Nurse with the minimum education necessary to successfully practice as a forensic nurse examiner (FNE) in the state of Wisconsin and treat all populations: Adult, Adolescent and Pediatrics. Registered Nurses who treat victims of violent crime, such as sexual violence or assault, must receive additional and specific didactic preparation to adequately care for this population. This ensures that all patients who are reporting sexual violence or assault receive competent and trauma-informed care, taking into consideration cultural, racial, ethnic, gender identity, sexual and socioeconomic diversity.

The WI DOJ is proud to offer this course which has been approved by the International Association of Forensic Nurses, an accredited approver of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation for 64 Contact Hours.

In-person seminar dates: September 25 - 29, 2023, Sessions generally run 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
