Integration Updates
Systems Integration: What’s Next?

The overall Aspirus site migration project is approximately 33% complete. We will continue to accomplish this project, site by site, in phased events over the next several months.

Reminder:

Once your workstation is migrated, users will log in using your Aspirus credentials and will access any remaining legacy Ascension apps through Citrix.

Events for the week of May 9-13

Continuing through Friday, May13

  • Howard Young Medical Center (Workstation Migration Event)

Wednesday, May 11

  • Internet Connection Change – All Integrated Sites (Network Migration Event)

Complete Updated Site Migration Event Schedule

REMINDER #1: Internet Connection Change on Wednesday, May 11, at 10 p.m. (CST)

During this event, all integrating sites will lose internet connectivity for a short duration to allow the Network team to switch sites from the Ascension link to the Aspirus link. At 10 p.m. (CST), individuals using the https://aspirus.cloud.com link to access Aspirus applications will lose internet connectivity for approximately 15 minutes. Other internet-facing sites/applications will also be unavailable for a brief period. Those using https://nfuse.chchealth.net and those whose PC has been migrated to Aspirus will not be impacted by this change.

REMINDER #2: Once your workstation has been migrated, users will use your Aspirus credentials and will access any remaining legacy Ascension Apps through Citrix. Also at this time, Aspirus IT will officially take over management and support of your workstation.

Important: If you have not already, make sure any files located on Ascension home drives are moved to Aspirus home drives prior to the workstation migration in your area. This means items should be located in the O: or Y: drives while using Tablacus Explorer. You will not have access to any of the legacy drive locations once your workstation is migrated. More information is available in this Tip Sheet.

Cattails

Cattails will go away in the very near future. Marshfield only agreed to allow read-only access until they deliver all data to Ascension for archiving. Once that is complete, they intend to shut off access to Cattails. Once Ascension delivers Cattails data to Aspirus, it will be imported into the Aspirus archiving system called Clearsense. The data will be viewable through Epic in October and a request process will be set up to ask for data prior to being able to view through Epic.
