Elaine Thompson, Med Surg ICU, Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital

Elaine ~ Thank you for going above and beyond to help with all the patients even if they were not assigned to you. You are an amazing CNA and dedicated team member; I appreciate your help so much!

Lynn Janssen, Therapy Administration, Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital

You take your role as therapy admin to a degree that surpasses the norm. Not only do you make sure the department runs smoothly and professionally, but you acknowledge the concerns and needs of our department on a daily basis that blend a level of accountability and compassion to the fullest degree.

KC Limbach, Inpatient Pharmacy, Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital

KC ~ Thank you so much for thinking of additional safeguards in our Pyxis machines to prevent high-risk medications from being removed mistakenly!! You are a huge asset to Aspirus Stevens Point!

Kimberly Scheunemann, Physical Therapy, Aspirus Riverview Therapies

Kim was willing to see a patient of mine to assess for vestibular dizziness. She added the patient onto an already busy day of hers. Thank you for all the hard work you do for our patients!

Lori Finnessy, Nursing, Aspirus Doctors Clinic

A patient wrote you a thank you note: "Lori, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for going the extra mile for us! You are a pillar employee, who took our problems and held our hands to the end. This is what compassionate, caring kindness is!" Thank you for going above and beyond for our patients!

Clarissa Krzykowski, Nursing, Aspirus Doctors Clinic

Clarissa goes out of her way to accommodate patients. She asks appropriate questions and escalates these questions when appropriate. She is a great resource for fellow team members. Clarissa is a great team worker and a joy to work with!

Imaging Patient Shares Appreciation

An Aspirus Riverview imaging patient recently sent the following message via the Aspirus website:

"I had imaging done today of my throat, and Aaron (Michie) was super nice and fast. I say fast because I told him I can't lay on my back long. He is a pleasant person to talk to and put me at ease when this was done. AAA job done."

Stevens Point Team Helps Dad Walk Daughter Down the Aisle

Because We Love

Our Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital team recently received the following words of appreciation from a patient and his wife.

"We are so grateful for our competent care, attention to detail, and compassion during (patient's) stay in June. We were able to celebrate our oldest daughter's wedding on June 25, with (patient) proudly escorting his daughter down the aisle, and sharing a dance. Thank you, and may God bless all of you!"

According to Renee Chatman, Manager 5E Med Surg, the patient was "a very sweet man and really touched all the hearts of the nursing staff and our respiratory department. The floor staff and RT were a perfect example of our value of collaboration (and, of course, compassion). They worked together and were able to get him the oxygen supplies he needed so he could be at his daughter's wedding."
