What Our Patients are Saying

Some Comments from Recent NRC Patient Satisfaction Surveys

Because We Love

Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital

All the nurses were fantastic. Kind and caring. Thoughtful. The doctor and assistant were great. Super nice. The anesthesiologist was great as well. Very attentive. Having a colonoscopy is stressful leading up to it, but once in hospital, it was less stressful. The care from everyone was top notch. Very impressed.

Aspirus Doctors Clinic Walk-In

The whole crew at Wisconsin Rapids was AWESOME! They LISTENED TO ME!! They cared. I was miserable, and they got me in and out and some meds to take care of the infection from my tooth being pulled elsewhere!! I cannot THANK THEM ENOUGH!!! Good to know there are providers who listen and care!! THANK YOU AGAIN!!

Dr. Oscar Padilla, Aspirus Plover Clinic-Vern Holmes Drive, Family Medicine

Dr. Padilla took the time to thoroughly and thoughtfully explain topics. He brought me over to the computer screen and walked me through what he was looking at. I was informed, comfortable, and listened to throughout the visit. He answered questions I didn't know I had. Also, Dr. Padilla's artwork around the location was very fun to look at!

Dr. Robert Cornwell, Aspirus Doctors Clinic, Internal Medicine

Dr. Cornwell is attentive to your needs. He doesn't talk down to you. He explains things thoroughly, so you understand what, if any, changes were made. He gives you a copy of your visit, what was discussed, any changes made. He is also kind and courteous. A great doctor!

Kristin Peterson, APNP, Aspirus Plover Clinic-Vern Holmes Drive, Neurology

I'm so glad to have this provider. She is the only one who listened to me and didn't use my age against me. She is a great listener, answers any questions, and doesn't give up. By far, one of the best!

Dr. Amy Falk, Aspirus Doctors Clinic, Pediatrics

I strongly recommend Dr. Falk. She never rushes us or makes us feel like we are bothersome. I love that she talks right to my kids to get their perspective instead of looking past them and only talking to me. She is kind and caring and considerate to my family's unique situations.

Aspirus Sponsors Riverfront Rendezvous

Aspirus Health is pleased to once again be a premium sponsor of Riverfront Rendezvous at Stevens Point's Pfiffner Park.

The free, three-day festival includes lots of live entertainment, food and beverage vendors, fishing and trivia contests, pickleball and horseshoes tournaments, and a family zone with inflatables and other fun kids' activities. It concludes with fireworks over the Wisconsin River at dusk on Sunday, July 2.

Our Aspirus tent will be set up between the park and river to provide a place out of the sun (and hopefully not rain) for anyone who would like to enjoy it.

Patient Safety Tip

Healthcare Construction - ICRA/PCRA

Why: EC.02.06.05 requires facilities to conduct a pre-construction risk assessment for air quality requirements, infection control, utility requirements, noise, vibration, and other hazards that affect care, treatment, and services, and then take action to minimize risks during demolition, construction, renovation, or general maintenance.

Call to Action: Contact Facilities Management and Infection Prevention when initiating construction projects to obtain assistance with completing a risk assessment.

Birthplace Receives Special Delivery

Babies born at Aspirus Riverview Family Birthplace are going home with a new book or toy, thanks to Ruby Marti, Miss Wisconsin Rapids Outstanding Teen.

Ruby organized a book and toy drive at local elementary schools and recently visited the birthplace to deliver what she collected. The project supports her social impact initiative, "Silence is NOT Golden: Early Language Matters," which promotes language and communication skills.

The Outstanding Teen competition is for teens between 13 and 18 to earn scholarships and professional development within the Miss America Organization. Ruby, who is about to begin her freshman year at Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln High School, traveled to Oshkosh last week to compete for the title of Miss Wisconsin Outstanding Teen. She was the second runner up from a field of 19 teens, earning a $700 scholarship!

Accepting the donated books and toys on behalf of Aspirus Riverview Family Birthplace are Ashley Eberhardt, RN (left), and Angel Schmidt, RN.
