Because we love, we lead.

Every day, we show compassion for our patients, their loved ones and one another. Below are a few recent examples. To recognize a co-worker or view more staff recognitions, click here.

Jesus Villaneda, Emergency Department, Aspirus  Plover Hospital

Thanks for the great weekend! You are excellent at getting patients to where they need to be and communicating with us about them! Always happy to see you at the front desk when I am working!!

Mackenzie Jobs, Cardiac Rehab, Aspirus  Plover Clinic-Plover Road

Mackenzie ~ Thank you so much for working with CI, cath lab, and quality to figure out why we are missing cardiac rehab referrals. This will greatly impact our patients and our NCDR registry scores! This has been plaguing us for awhile, and I'm so glad we are finally getting to the bottom of it!

Robin Coppock, Med Surg, Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital

Thanks for always being so great with collaborating on patient care. You're always ready and willing to assist with transfers when I need you!

Welcome

Amy Ortner, Imaging, Aspirus Riverview Hospital

It was an honor to witness your work in ultrasound today. I was touched by the care and compassion you showed toward your patient. The words you used to comfort her. The way you listened and developed rapport with her. The time you spent with her to ensure she felt safe!!

Joshua Scott, Athletic Training, Aspirus Riverview Therapies

Josh should be recognized for all of the work he puts in to provide a community falls class at the YMCA. Participants find it very beneficial and are appreciative. He represents Aspirus perfectly! He even participated in marketing opportunities with an interview and Instagram segments.

Meet Aspirus Riverview's New "Crew in Blue"

Aspirus Riverview on September 1 welcomed our 2022-2023 Project SEARCH interns!

This year's enthusiastic "crew in blue" includes (from left): Brenna Szopinski (Nekoosa), Leah Weiland (Wisconsin Rapids), Matthew Johnson (Adult Intern), Destiny Roberts (Adult Intern), Jasmin Pierce (Port Edwards), and David Clay (Adult Intern).

The interns will spend their first two weeks in the Project SEARCH classroom, completing orientation and job skills activities. Then they will get their first job assignments, which will enable them to practice their new skills through graduation in May.

The Aspirus Riverview Project SEARCH classroom is located in the former ER waiting room (by the chapel). We welcome the crew's new instructor, Jackie Kitowski. And we welcome back job coaches Sue King and Alice Wallner. The classroom phone extension is 29640.

Project SEARCH is a business-led collaboration that enables young adults with disabilities to gain and maintain employment through training and career exploration. In addition to Aspirus Riverview,

Aspirus has Project SEARCH interns at Aspirus Wausau Hospital and Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff. Visit the Project SEARCH in Wisconsin webpage to learn more.
