MPP summer events

MPAC’s Government Relations team has been on the road this summer visiting MPP constituency events across Ontario. A special thank you to everyone who invited us to attend their annual BBQ, seniors’ symposium, or other community event. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting your ridings and meeting with your constituents.

If your office is hosting a community event in the coming months, contact James Harvey to request an MPAC information booth. This is a great opportunity to provide valuable resources and answer questions for your constituents.

We’re also happy to schedule a “Day with MPAC” information day in your constituency office.

Constituency office mini tour

MPAC reached out to newly elected MPPs this summer to offer in-person meetings with constituency staff. The meetings have been productive and have focused on educating staff on our role in the property assessment and taxation system, and how we can support MPPs, staff and constituents on property assessment matters.

We appreciate the offices that welcomed us to their ridings so far, and look forward to visiting more over the coming months. If you believe your team would benefit from an introductory meeting with MPAC, contact James Harvey to schedule a discussion.

2025 AMO conference

MPAC was pleased to attend the 2025 Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) annual conference this year in Ottawa. Our Municipal and Stakeholder Relations department hosted an exhibitor booth where they engaged with municipal staff and elected representatives. President and Chief Administrative Officer Nicole McNeil announced our brand refresh and presented our upcoming corporate priorities to attendees.

The Government Relations team met with various Ministers and their staff throughout the week and appreciated the time attendees took to visit the MPAC booth. It was a busy and productive week, and we look forward to seeing you there again in 2026.

See you at the 2025 OFA AGM

Government Relations will be at the Ontario Federation of Agriculture (OFA) Annual General Meeting on November 25 and 26, and we hope to see you there! We’re excited to engage with property owners and discuss how MPAC can support agricultural professionals. If you plan on attending, please feel free to visit the MPAC booth or contact James Harvey to arrange a meeting at the event.

2025 feedback survey coming soon

We want to hear from you! In October 2024, we sent constituency offices a feedback survey inviting MPPs and staff to share which resources and supports would be most helpful for their office. The responses received were overwhelmingly positive and helped inform our engagement strategy for 2025.

We’re now ready to send our second feedback survey next month. Please keep an eye out for an email titled Share your Feedback – 2025 MPP Survey and provide your thoughts on how we can support your continued success in 2026.

Resources and insights

MPP Riding Assessment Summary Reports

On June 30, we delivered a new product to all 124 MPPs in Ontario. The Riding Assessment Summary Reports have been a priority for the Government Relations team this year and we were excited to deliver them to you this summer. We’ve received great feedback and lots of questions about these reports, and we look forward to providing updated reports in 2026. If you have not received a summary report for your riding, please review your office’s constituency email inbox for a message from James Harvey. If you still are unable to find it, contact James Harvey directly for a replacement.

Data that delivers!

Recognizing the importance of actionable insights, the Government Relations team has continued to promote data products for MPPs this summer. MPAC provides custom data products to MPPs to help them better understand their ridings and improve engagements with their constituents.

Some of the common data product requests include:

  • Vacant land reports
  • Local business stakeholder lists
  • New housing development reports

If you have an idea about how MPAC data can help support your work locally, reach out to James Harvey to explore the opportunity further.
