Keaton Macut joined Asset Strategy Consultants in August 2018, as the Director of Business Development in our Harrisburg office. He was hired to help build client retirement portfolios, engage with clients and prospects, and enhance the overall sales culture.
Keaton has worked in the financial services and retirement industry his entire professional career since graduating from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a licensed investment advisor, an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®, and sits on a national Corporate 401(k) Advisory Committee that monitors and reports on the sustainability and impact of investments in employer-sponsored retirement plans.
James Dowling is a senior vice president at Fidelity Institutional (FI), the Fidelity Investments business that offers financial professionals and institutions access to the investment, technology, and platform solutions they need to service their clients and grow their businesses. Fidelity Investments is a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing, and other financial products and services to institutions, financial intermediaries, and individuals.
In this role, Mr. Dowling is a Defined Contribution Investment Only (DCIO) wholesaler based in Washington, DC. He is responsible for the distribution of Fidelity Investment’s asset management capabilities through advisors, advisory firms, and record keepers that are focused on serving the small and mid-sized defined contribution market. Mr. Dowling supports his clients by representing Fidelity’s investment capabilities, investment thought leadership, capital markets perspectives, investment analytics, and retirement thought leadership.
Mr. Dowling joined Fidelity Investments in 2000 and began his institutional wholesaling career with Fidelity in 2003 in the mid-Atlantic region.
Mr. Dowling earned degrees in economics and English from James Madison University and a master of business administration degree from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. He also holds the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7, 63, and insurance licenses, the C(k)P designation, and is a CFA® charterholder.
