Through My Lens

October 2018

We all look at life through our own lens

Sue 2017
School is now in session and we all participate. It matters not if we are in a classroom or at home, we all have an assignment that was given to us. Some assignments are easy some more difficult but we all sit in the schoolroom of life learning each day and following our given assignment.
This musing was inspired by a man, following his assignment and living in poverty in Africa but making a difference in the lives of those he touches.
Do you know your assignment and do you follow it ?
                                                   Until Next Time....

My Assignment

Before I was born I had an assignment
That was given only to me.
While being formed in my mothers womb
I was being prepared to serve He.

Where I was born, my life experiences
Were all planned in advance by He.
My talents, passions and circumstances
Are part of the assignment given to me.

So to accept the assignment God has given
Is what I now must do.
He will empower me with His Holy Spirit
And He'll do the same for you.

For my talents, gifts and passions,
Where I live and what I do,
Are my assignments from my Lord
So to this assignment I must be true.
