Hello Dairy Producers!
The CA Department of Food and Ag has opened applications for its
Alternative Manure Management Program (AMMP)
. All dairies can apply for up to $750,000 to help implement practices that reduce methane emissions. Practices might include:

Manure separators and other equipment to pull out and dry or compost manure solids
·
Fencing or other infrastructure to help get cows onto pasture and out of the barn more often
·
Conversion from flush to scrape systems
·
Building a compost bedded pack barn
