Please see information to honor Assistant Chief Josh Bischof.
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA – A Celebration of Life is being held for fallen Assistant
Chief Josh Bischof, on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at the Toyota Arena, 4000
Ontario Center, Ontario, CA 91764 at 11:00 a.m.
All uniformed personnel and
public guests who are attending are asked to follow the ingress directions
below:
Apparatus: Apparatus should travel North on Milliken Avenue from I-10, left on
Concours Street. Parking attendants will direct apparatus further as they arrive.
Staff and Personal Vehicles: Vehicles arriving from the West should park in
Parking Lot F on the attached map. Vehicles arriving from the East should park in
Parking Lot A on the attached map. Uniformed personnel should arrive by 10:00
a.m. for a 10:15 a.m. briefing.
Procession Information:
For personnel that cannot attend the Celebration of Life for Assistant Chief Josh
Bischof, but would still like to participate, we encourage you to pay your final
respects along one of the many overpasses of the procession route on the day
of his services. The procession will begin on August 24, 2023, at 10:25 a.m. The
procession will be limited to pre-identified vehicles. (See attached)
Remote Attendance:
Ensuring that all who wish to pay their respects can do so. As such, livestreaming
options will be provided for the celebrations of life for Assistant Chief Josh Bischof
via the CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department YouTube Channel.

livestreaming available.
The CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department expresses its heartfelt

and community engagement during these trying times.
