"What do Utah's new 'Orange' guidelines mean
for my retail business?"

In an effort to partially re-open Utah for business, Governor Herbert recently issued an executive order moving Utah from "Red" status to "Orange" status. At each color level status there are general and specific operating guidelines for businesses. The general guidelines for business are found on page 7 of this document and the specific guidance for retailers can be found on pages 8-9.

The association will be co-hosting a retail roundtable discussion with the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce to discuss the implications of the new orange guidelines on Utah retailers. We have invited Rich Saunders from the Utah Department of Health to join us in this discussion. Rich is the primary architect of the phased guidelines for businesses and will be available to answer questions.
