Expedited Renewable Energy Solicitations Launched As Part of Governor Hochul’s 10-Point Action Plan
Offshore Wind Solicitation
Final proposals for the offshore wind solicitation must be submitted by January 25, 2024.
Land-Based Renewables Solicitation
The process for submitting proposals into the land-based renewables solicitation will be conducted in two steps, with eligibility requirements due on December 21, 2023, to confirm that interested projects are eligible to bid and final proposals due on January 31, 2024.

The New York District Corps of Engineers has received an application from Founders Landing Boatyard, LLC, for a Ten-Year Maintenance Dredging with Upland Disposal and Return Flow to the Waterway.
Comments are due by December 21, 2023.

The New York District Corps of Engineers has received an application to construct a pier assembly, including the pile-supported pier, grout-filled steel piles, and floats on the Long Island Sound.
Comments are due by January 5, 2024.

The New York District Corps of Engineers has received an application from Astoria Generating Company, LP, for Ten-Year Maintenance De-Silting with Upland Disposal and Return Flow to the Waterway on the East River.

New York City Economic Development Corporation Downtown Manhattan Heliport Operator RFP.
Per Section 1-13 of the Concession Rules of the City of New York, the City of New York (“City”), through the New York City Department of Small Business Services (“SBS”), is issuing, as of the date of this notice, a Request for Proposals (“RFP”) for firms with expertise in heliport, airport and vertiport as well as maritime freight, logistics and micro-distribution or microhubs management and operations to act as an operator at the Downtown Manhattan Heliport in Lower Manhattan.
The submission deadline is February 12, 2024.

As a nonprofit trade association, the Maritime Association serves its members by affecting policy change on local and national levels while promoting the regional industries' maritime services at sea and ashore.
Stakeholder engagement is vital to the Maritime Association in order to ensure the security of maritime assets, the sustainability of the marine environment, and grow the competitiveness of port services.
