Gym & Pool Opening Update
As you may know, the Governor announced that he will move the state into the "Orange Phase" of recovery from the COVID-19 Pandemic. He, along with the Salt Lake County Mayor have outlined instructions on the process of "re-opening" the state beginning on May 1 and many of you have already reached out regarding the gym and when it will open.
The gym is currently under construction to expand the area and will remained closed until that construction work is completed, which we anticipate to be about four weeks from now. This will also give us time to establish guidelines to ensure the area is safe and clean for you to use.

The pool has also been under construction, with new plaster and tile work being installed. At this time, we do not have an expected date of opening for the pool and hot tubs. We will be evaluating the opening as we move closer to Memorial Day weekend.
Brighten Someone's Day!
As we all know, these are trying times and we want to help brighten the day of some of Draper's seniors. We've partnered with the Ashford Assisted Living Center in Draper to help lift the spirits of some of their residents. We are looking for folks to write letters of encouragement, draw a picture or just say "Hi!"

We need the letters submitted by May 1st . You can email them to Josh at jojohnson@ccmcnet.com , mail them to the OA office, or drop them off in our mailbox. Check out our website for all the details!

Is Your Home Firewise?
Wildfire preparation increases the potential that homes will survive wildfire. By preparing homes and property ahead of time, we can better protect our homes, investment, surrounding area and families. If each of us does our part, we can collectively create a safer environment. Draper City, along with fire officials have compiled several very helpful documents to help you prepare your home and property for a wildfire in our community. We highly encourage you to review this information and take the appropriate steps to ensure your home is prepared.
