Dear Assumption Family,

The first marking period ends on Monday, November 4. Teachers will be finishing first quarter grade calculations this week. As is the tradition at Assumption, we ask that all parents or guardians have a conference with the child's teacher at the end of the first marking period. This is an important time to meet with the teacher and discuss your child's progress both academically and socially. Research has proven that students are far more successful in school when there is open communication and collaboration between the home and school. The parent teacher conference is integral in this partnership. Parent teacher conferences will be held the afternoon of Thursday, November 14 and after the early dismissal on Friday, November 15.

Parent Teacher Conference Days:

Thursday, November 14

3:15 pm to 5:30 pm

Friday, November 15

11:30 am to 3:30 pm

Keep a close watch on your email for a Sign-Up Genius to schedule you parent teacher conferences. Report cards will be distributed at these conferences. If you are not able to schedule a conference during the times allotted, please contact your child's teacher directly to make alternative arrangements.
