We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and enjoyed time with family and friends! December is here and it will be a flurry of activity! We are ready!
Annual PTL sponsored Paper Ornament Sale runs from Dec 3 - 17.
Student council will be selling paper ornaments during lunches to display on our paper trees while raising money for Aston families in need. Ornaments are $.25 cents each or 4 for $1.00.
Leader in Me/PBIS Updates:
Habit for the Month of Dec/Jan: Put first things first - for our students, this means doing the most important things before doing the fun or easy things. This involves planning ahead and making good choices, even if something is hard or not fun right now.

Cyber Monday: Shop Smart, Stay Safe
Cyber Monday deals can be exciting—but they’re also a prime time for online scams. Many phishing messages pretend to be “limited-time offers” or “order problems” to trick families into clicking. Remind kids that real companies don’t ask for personal information through pop-ups or urgent emails. A little skepticism goes a long way.
Action step: This week, look at a sample fake “deal” or scam message together. Sites like Common Sense Media, Google’s Be Internet Awesome, and the FTC provide kid-friendly examples. Ask your child to point out the red flags—strange URLs, misspellings, or pressure to “act now.” Here is a great video to start your conversation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8UVnkh8i0c
