Annual PTL sponsored Paper Ornament Sale runs until Dec 15th

Student council will continue selling paper ornaments during lunches to display on our paper trees while raising money for Aston families in need. Ornaments are $.25 cents each or 4 for $1.00.

Leader in Me/PBIS Updates: We are working to put first things first in all we do! Sometimes it is hard to wait to do things we want to do so we can complete the things we must do, but we are learning!

Students have been more responsible on the bus! We are still working on this, but it is improving! Thank you for talking with your children about the importance of bus safety.

Parent Tech Tip from our Technology Teacher, Ms. Cameron

Staying Safe on New Devices

If your child receives a new device in December, take time to set it up together. Kids learn valuable skills when they see adults adjust privacy settings, create strong passwords, and enable safety features. This teaches responsibility and sets a positive tone from the start. Here are three common safety features you can set up on a new game or app with your child:

  1. Parental Controls & Content Filters Limit access to age-appropriate content, block mature material, and control what features the child can use (like chats, purchases, or certain game modes).
  2. Screen-Time Limits Set daily or session-based limits so the child can only use the game or app for a certain amount of time.
  3. Privacy & Communication Settings. Restrict who can message or friend your child, disable voice or text chat, hide personal information, and limit profile visibility to friends only.

Action step: Review the privacy settings on one device together and turn on at least one safety feature.

Nurse Corner

Smile Program: The mobile dentist will be at Northley Middle School on Thursday, February 19, 2026. Below is the link to register. Students who are registered will be bused to Northley and back to Aston. Time is TBD, so it is suggested that students pack a lunch that day if possible. If not, we will be sure they get to eat if they miss their assigned lunch time.
