We made it! There are 1 and 1/2 days left until winter break. Our staff did an amazing job keeping the students engaged in academic activities during this very exciting time!

The Annual PTL sponsored paper 0rnament sale and gift card drive raised over $500 for families in need. The Aston Police Department added to that and we were able to help 8 families this holiday season! Thank you for your generosity!
Leader in Me/PBIS Updates: We hope the students get some practice over the next 2 weeks putting first things first. We have been teaching the students the importantce of priortizing. Ask them about it!
The Leader in Me mural is complete! There is a picture below! Thank you Veronica Batter for your hard work and Hallie Middleton and Miranda Bourderiux for your collaboration with the projects. Every student and most staff members painted a part of the mural!

Winter Break Tech-Free Family Moments
Between celebrations, meals, and visiting relatives, December offers many chances to practice putting tech aside. Kids can learn the value of connecting with people in front of them—and that devices will still be there later. Setting a few natural “no-screen times” makes the season feel more meaningful.
Action step: Choose one family moment this week (a meal, a car ride, gift wrapping) to make tech-free and stick to it together.
Nurse Corner
Smile Program: The mobile dentist will be at Northley Middle School on Thursday, February 19, 2026. Below is the link to register. Students who are registered will be bused to Northley and back to Aston. Time is TBD, so it is suggested that students pack a lunch that day if possible. If not, we will be sure they get to eat if they miss their assigned lunch time.
