Leader in Me/PBIS Updates:
We picked several super star winners this week! Congratulations to the individual winners and to grade 1 for being the overall grade level winner - they had the most superstars and won a movie and popcorn treat!
Habit of the month - Begin with end in mind:
We are teaching students to have a plan. We are encouraging them to think about what they want to happen before starting a task, assignment, challenge, etc. It’s like thinking about what a finished puzzle will look like before you start putting the pieces together!

Why Not to Overshare Personal Details
Kids often don’t realize how small pieces of information—like their favorite sports team, school name, or daily routine—can add up to reveal more than they intend. Oversharing makes it easier for strangers to learn personal details that should stay private. Every photo, comment, or post they share online becomes part of their digital footprint—the collection of information about them that exists on the internet. Once something is posted, it can be copied, shared, or saved, even if it’s later deleted.
Action step: Make a two-column chart with your child this week: “Safe to Share” and “Not to Share.” Fill it in together and post it near the computer or tablet. This helps children understand that every choice they make online contributes to their digital footprint—and that being careful about what they share helps protect their privacy and safety.
