This is a short week with 2 early dismissals and no recess or lunch.
We wish all of our students and their faimilies a Happy Thanksgiving! We will return to school after Thanksgiving break on December 1.
The Lock down drill this past Thursday went very well. The students and staff knew exactly what to do and we were able to end the lock down practice within 15 minutes of the start.
Annual PTL sponsored Turkey Feather Sale has ended.
Thank you to all of our students and families for purchasing turkey feathers! We raised close to $350 to help our Aston families for Thanksgiving! A special thanks to the Aston Police Department, a couple of our Penn Delco bus drivers, and our generous parents who contributed additional resources to help us support 7 families this year.
Conferences
There are only 2 days of school this week and both are half days. We will dismiss at 11:15 AM Monday and Tuesday.

Download Before You Go
Before heading out for Thanksgiving—or settling in for a cozy holiday at home—it’s smart to download books, shows, games, and learning apps while you’re still on a strong home Wi-Fi connection. Even if you’re staying home, last-minute downloads can slow everything down when multiple people are streaming, gaming, or video chatting during the holiday. And if you are traveling, public or hotel networks can be slow, unreliable, or even unsafe for large downloads. Kids may assume they can grab everything on the go, but travel days often come with dead zones, data limits, or long stretches without service. Pre-downloading ensures they have entertainment and learning tools ready for long car rides, flights, or quiet downtime—at home or away.
Action step: Take 10 minutes before the holiday to have your child choose a few shows, e-books, or activities they want, and download them on home Wi-Fi so everything works smoothly and offline when you need it most.
