It was another great week at Aston Elementary School! There is more fun to come next week!
Off SIte Evacuation Drill
The drill went really well. The students did a great job and it only took us 45 minutes to evacuate Aston, get onto the buses, unload at Neumann, take roll, and then head back to school. Teachers and staff handled the drill very well!
Trunk or Treat is Thursday! Important Info below:
Please bring a canned good or non perishable food item to Trunk or Treat (if you can) to help Mt. Hope stock their food pantry.

How Kindness Online Makes the Internet Better
Every post, comment, or message helps shape the tone of the online world. When kids choose kindnessâby congratulating a friend, offering encouragement, or standing up for someone who feels left outâthey make digital spaces more welcoming and positive. These moments donât have to happen on social media. Younger children can share kindness through safe, parent-approved platforms like classroom apps, family messaging threads, or kids' email accounts. Parents can model this by sending kind notes or leaving thoughtful comments in shared spaces. Kids notice these everyday actsâand theyâre more likely to repeat them.
Action step: This week, challenge your child to send one kind message in a safe online spaceâa compliment, a thank-you, or a quick note of encouragementâand then talk about how it felt to spread positivity digitally.
