It is the week leading up to Sun Valley's Homecoming Game scheduled for October 11! We are having a spirit week to celebrate:

Monday - Home team.- Wear Philly or sports gear

Tuesday - Home on the range - Wear western attire or plaid

Wednesday - Our Home - Wear USA themed or red, white, and blue

Thursday - Homecoming Court - Dress to impress

Friday - Home Colors - Wear Aston gear or PDSD colors

MTSS has begun! - all students should have received a letter from their child's MTSS teacher explaining what they are working on during that time. (First grade letters are coming this week). MTSS is a time when students get what they need to become stronger readers. Some get intervention to fill gaps and others get enrichment to push them to the next level. MTSS occurs by grade level 4 times a week for 30 minutes.

PBIS News - We held our second super star drawing of the year! Congtratulations to our winners! Our students are doing a good job making sure they are safe, responsible, and respectful in all settings.

Aston Elementary’s Trunk or Treat, 10/24 @6pm!

Paper forms have gone home to purchase tickets. This event is for Aston Elementary students and siblings only. Tickets must be purchased in advance for entry to the event so that we can ensure we have enough treats for all. Please plan ahead and return your order forms with your child(ren)’s names and payment no later than *Monday, 10/21*, entry tickets will not be sold at the event.

Aston Elementary’s Butterbraid Fundraiser is Here! 

Students have come home with forms to sell these delicious pastries to help raise funds for our school. There is also an online link where you can create your online store to share with family and friends.
