Ms. Susan Phillips, Principal

Week of September 8, 2024

We had a great first week of school and are looking forward to an even better second week! The students are settlling into the routine nicely!

Car line - This continues to be a challenge, but it will get better. The following suggestions will help the line move faster. Adults should NOT get out of the car. This holds the line up. Our staff will assist when necessary. If you child needs help getting strapped into their seat, please consider pulling into a parking spot to do this after pick up. Also, please remember that most of our students get a bus - the buses have been leaving the school before the car line is finished. Please consider using the bus assigned to your child daily.

Beginning of the year assessments:

Currently we are assessiing the students in grades K - 5 to see what they know and what we need to plan to either challenge and push them further or to fill in the gaps. We will be assessing all week.

PBIS News

This week we reviewed the behaivor expectations with the students. We teach them to be safe, respectful, and responsible in all areas of school and on buses. They students learned about super stars and weekly drawings if caught following the behavior expectations!
