Significant new versions of the AP V2 ASCOM Driver and APCC have been released. Be sure to follow our   upgrade tips to ensure successful implementation.

UPGRADE TIPS

  • Make sure that your Windows and ASCOM Platform are up-to-date before installing.
  • Install BOTH of these upgrades. We recommend installing the driver first, followed by APCC.
  • APCC V1.6 requires .Net 4.5.2, which is not available for Windows XP, so anyone still running XP cannot upgrade to this version.
ascomAP V2 ASCOM DRIVER - NEW VERSION RELEASED: 5.10.00
The newest version of the Astro-Physics V2 ASCOM driver has been released. This version must be installed for the new APCC version 1.6.0.0. features to be active.

Highlights include:
  • Allows pulse guide (timed moves) up to 99.999 seconds. This will allow for much more precise autoguider calibration. GTOCP4 only - all control boxes.
  • Improved performance of button moves from Driver window.
  • Allow RA / Dec tracking rates up to 999.999X for GTOCP3 V1 and later and all GTOCP4 to facilitate fast moving satellites

apccAPCC - NEW VERSION RELEASED: 1.6.0.0

This new version includes numerous improvements to both the Standard and Pro versions - too many to list here.

Highlights Include:
  • APCC - Improvements to handle upcoming GTOCP4 enhanced features.
