About the Program

This program provides an in-depth exploration of the critical asylum issues currently facing federal courts. As legal landscapes shift, the handling of asylum claims has become increasingly complex. Our panelist will examine recent developments in asylum law, focusing on topics such as the intersection of immigration policy with federal court decisions, procedural challenges, and significant precedents impacting asylum cases. Attendees will gain insights into emerging issues, including evidentiary requirements, burdens of proof, and human rights considerations. This program is essential for attorneys navigating asylum and immigration law in federal courts, helping practitioners better support and advocate for clients seeking asylum.

This program is presented by the Immigration & Naturalization Law section chaired by Ali Brodie. Find out more at www.bhba.org.
