Clean water for God's thirsty children

At A Time of Uncertainty...

The foundation of our joint efforts to provide clean water for God's thirsty children -- is prayer. We begin each day with prayer for our Water Women, and for you, our dear friends whose generous gifts make this work possible.

And always remember that those Water Women around the world are also praying for God to bless you in return.

As we respond to the pandemic by washing our hands and keeping our distance, let us continue to hold one another in prayer, asking God for the gifts of healing and consolation in a troubling time.
The Solution
Last week we described the challenge: every night, when we sleep, 3,600 children die from the lack of clean water.

At Water With Blessings, we believe the solution is clear: putting the Sawyer PointOne filter in the hands of a Water Woman, who will provide clean water for her own and 3 other families. That's $75 for the gift of clean water.
In the midst of global emergency, the need for clean water is even greater. Please consider giving once again to provide
clean water for God's thirsty children.
Sawyer PointONE Filter
The picture tells the story. One bucket...one filter protected by a nicely-knitted cover...and a newly-commissioned Water Woman, trained to provide clean water for her own and 3 other families.

The Sawyer PointONE filter removes 99.99999% of all bacteria, such as salmonella, cholera, leptospirosis, and E.coli, removes 99.9999% of all protozoa (such as giardia and cryptosporidium), and 100% of microplastics.

No wonder Sr. Larraine Lauter, Executive Director of Water With Blessings, calls it the most important product on the planet.
How's Your Lent Going?
Lent 2020 is one we will remember.

The coronavirus pandemic is one of those events that exposes the lines that separate us from one another, as well as the compassion that holds us together.

It is often called the Lenten Journey , but as many mystics have noted, our real journeys are always interior.

It is through praying for one another, giving up a little of our own wants by putting others first, and caring for the least of our sisters and brothers, that we take the strides toward finding our true selves in God's deep, abiding love. Peace be with you.
We believe every child should be drinking clean water. Are you with us?
